PURPOSE:To work a workpiece without moving a laser head by holding the workpiece with a chuck, moving the chuck in the directions of X, Y and Z-axes with the machine body and revolving the chuck. CONSTITUTION:The workpiece W on a rotary feeder is carried to the chuck 26 with a robot and held with the chuck 26 which is mounted on the machine body 1. The chuck 26 is moved with the body 1 in the directions of X, Y and Z-axes that are respectively in rectangular directions and the workpiece W is moved to a prescribed position of the laser head. The workpiece W is revolved through the chuck 26 with a motor 27 and working is executed by radiating a laser beam. Because working is executed by moving only the workpiece W without moving the laser head, the optical path of laser beam can be made to a hermetic structure. |
