PURPOSE:To avoid trouble to the surrounding persons by lighting sequentially two kinds of light source colors or over in turn for a prescribed period when an incoming call reaches so as to notice the arrival of the call without sound. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set is provided with an operation means, a display means, light sources 8, 9 lighting the display means and having at least two kinds of light source colors, and a light source changeover means 7 selecting one of the light source colors in response to a selection command from the operation means, and the light source changeover means 7 detects an incoming call signal A to send a switching signal used to switch sequentially the light source color cyclicly. Then a soundless signal B is inputted to a changeover switch 12 by a soundless command from the user and when the incoming call signal A is inputted in this state with a soundless command from the user, the incoming call signal A is not relayed to a speaker driver 10 but relayed to a light source changeover device 7. Then light source drive signals C, D are set alternately to a low level or a high level for a prescribed period, the light source in orange and the light source in green repeat lighting alternately for the period and the arrival of the incoming call is recognized without. |
