Mfg. 3=dimensional workpieces using laser machining - employing CAD model to provide laser machining data for each successive layer of workpiece formed from stacked layers
摘要

The mfg. method uses stacked material layers welded together via a laser beam. Geometric construction data for each layer of the workpiece is determined using CAD tools, to control a laser (L) machining process. Pref. the successive layers are welded together at the parts of the workpiece with the greatest wall thickness, via point welding or line welding along the workpiece contours, with additional hollow spaces within the workpiece obtained by material being removed using the laser. Removed material may be collected by a vacuum nozzle (S). ADVANTAGE - Allows use of continuous workpiece structuring process.
