PURPOSE: To optimize a control mode of a shock absorber for decreasing adjustment noise by logically interlinking a signal representing a relative movement between a vehicle body and a wheel to a signal value such as a predicted displacement velocity of a spring after a delay time from the above signal. CONSTITUTION: There is taken out a signal Xar' representing a relative movement between both sides of a shock absorber 20 with time t and the first means 12 are provided to obtain a signal Xarp' which is dependent on the signal Xar'. Further the second means 13 are provided to logically interlink a signal corresponding to the signal Xar' to the signal Xarp' and variable parameters of a vehicle are controlled depending on the logical interlinking wherein Xar' shows a velocity of a piston of a shock absorber 20 at a time t and/or the signal Xarp' shows a velocity of a piston of a shock absorber 20 at a time t+tau.
