CABLE AND INSULATING MATERIAL COMPOSITIONS

The coating composition for electric wire or cable is prepared by blending the rubbric components of neoprene butadiene rubber (NBR), butadiene ruber (BR), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) or ethylene-propylene diene monomer (EPDM), and/or, as crosslinking assistant, trimethylol propane triarcrylate (TMPTA) or polypropylene glycol dimethacrylate (PPGDMA); then radiation reacting that to elevate its crosslinking degree. The obtd. coating compsn. has excellent mechanical properties.
