Aid for making orthopaedic boot - consists of sole which is coloured by dye in areas subjected to greatest pressure
摘要
The aid for making an orthopaedic boot is formed by a sole which is worn in the existing boot of the person who requires the new orthopaedic boot. The sole is covered with a layer of micro-capsules which contain a dye and the surface of the sole is coated with a medium to develop the dye. When the person walks wearing a boot with such a sole the capsules subjected to the greatest pressure are burst open and the dye runs over the sole. The sole is thus marked in the areas of maximum pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method of making an orthopaedic boot. The method is simple and inexpensive.
