The creel assembly to supply a number of yarns esp. for warping, has an air channel over each creel leg and on the same vertical plane with at least one outlet opening. Each creel leg has a protective wall behind and on a parallel plan to the bobbin levels. The air streams from the outlet openings pass between the bobbin levels and the wall to pass wholly from the wall against the bobbins. Pref. each air channel is a tube fixed to the shrouding wall. An intermediate tube is between the suction unit and each of the two air channels with the air treatment system. The bobbin layers are formed by continuous chains and the shrouding wall is between the parallel chain levels. The creel is a V-creel type. ADVANTAGE - The air delivered to the creel assembly is used more effectively and the operatives are shielded from the air flow as they pass between the creel legs.
