PURPOSE:To reduce a ratio occupied on the chip of a control part of a photoelectric converting element and to improve the yield, and the degree of freedom of arrangement of a photoelectric converting element photodetecting part by placing a photoelectric converting element train by dividing it into photoelectric converting element trains provided with a specific circuit, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In a photoelectric converter for constituting an accumulation controller, sensor control arrays SNSCTLU-A, B contain sensor arrays SNSPX-A, B being photodetecting parts, and image signal reading-out circuits SNOUTU-A, B consist of plural pieces of accumulating signal reading-out circuits SNOUT. An accumulating maximum signal detecting circuit PDETU consists of plural pieces of circuits PDET provided with a maximum value detecting function of an accumulating signal, and an accumulating minimum signal detecting circuit BDETU consists of plural pieces of circuits BDET provided with a minimum value detecting function of the accumulating signal. In this case, the photoelectric converting element train is placed by dividing it into the photoelectric converting element train provided with the accumulating maximum detecting signal detecting circuit PDETU, and the photoelectric converting element train provided with the accumulating minimum signal detecting circuit BDETU. |
