PURPOSE:To improve compatibility with substitute fluorocarbon refrigerants, etc., thermal and chemical stabilities, lubricity, oil return, etc., by using an ester oil consisting essentially of an ester of pentaerythritol with a higher fatty acid as a lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:In a built-in motor type refrigerator in which a mixture of a refrigerant such as 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane with a lubricant directly contacting insulating materials such as imide-based insulating materials of magnet wires, an ester oil consisting essentially of an ester of (A) pentaerythritol with (B) a 7-14C straight-chain or branched monofunctional higher fatty acid is used as a lubricant. |
