A vertical section through the device shows electrical elements (1) embedded in a layer (2) of translucent thermoplastic lying between two films. The front film (5) is plain, and the rear film (3) is overlaid with a special thermoplastic adhesive layer for mounting on e.g. the wall of a building. The display may be given by LEDs, irradiation by infrared or laser beams, or control of reflectivity by suitable electrical measuring and regulating circuits. ADVANTAGE - Compact unitary device affords max. resistance to damp, min. mfg. cost and optimal diversity of applications.
