A centrifuge drive disc rotatable about a central axial shaft has removably fitted into it a sepn. container with a main sepn. channel and a number of discharge channels, esp. for different blood components, directed towards the disc centre. The sepn. container is a self-supporting semi-rigid structure locally deformable for the container to be clipped into recesses in the drive disc side wall. Arcuate sepn. channels, of rectangular cross-section, extend from larger sepn. chambers and may be enclosed by a fluid-tight lid. The upright wall round the drive disc edge is topped by an inwardly turned rim to form a smaller ring for engaging the sepn. container, formed e.g. as an incomplete ring with slot providing space for deformation.
