<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a connection tube between expansion chambers, an exhaust guide tube, a discharge tube, etc., by composing all or part of the tubes, etc., adjacent to and integrated with each other at side surfaces of the tubes to be a composite type tube. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust guide tube 9, a connection tube 11, a throat tube 12, a connection tube 13, and a discharge tube 14 disposed in an outer cylinder are composed to be all integrated with each other to be a single composite tube A. A material tube P having a cross sectional surface of a bit-like shape is formed by extrusion molding, and four of the material tubes P are cut in necessary lengths. Cuts are formed at predetermined positions in the tube separated by partition walls, and unnecessary parts are cut or crushed to obtain the above-mensioned tubes 11-14 integrated with the exhaust guide tube 9 to be the composite tube A. An inner structure of a muffler, especially the tubes such as the connection tube between expansion chambers, can thus be simplified.</p> |
