PURPOSE:To simultaneously update different equipments in the same map by generating an equipment exclusion key from a record name of an equipment DB and a key of the equipment, and executing the exclusion control, based thereon. CONSTITUTION:A design segmenting part 11 of a terminal l displays the latest equipment drawing and segments a map of an instructed range, and from a key value of an equipment instructed on this map and a record name of the equipment a well-defined equipment exclusion key is generated. By giving a notice to a heat 2 through a circuit and storing it in an equipment exclusion management DB 28, an exclusion is obtained, and in accordance with the notice of this fact, the equipment on the map is updated by the terminal 1, it is informed to the host 2 and the equipment DB managed well-definedly is updated, and thereafter, the exclusion of the equipment exclusion management DB 28 is released.
