PURPOSE:To efficiently load the programs to many terminal equipments by combining the package programs divided for each unit function to produce an application program and changing partly the package programs through the terminal equipments. CONSTITUTION:The input of a list of functions required for a POS terminal equipment 13 is accepted. Then the propriety is checked for the input of the required functions and confirmed. Thus a deleted package is extracted out of a loaded program and at the same time an additional package is also extracted. Then a deleting command is sent to a POS terminal equipment 13 for a package to be deleted and the additional package is read out of a library. This additional package is loaded to the equipment 13 and the response given from the equipment 13 is checked. When the additional package is normally loaded, a package program control table is updated and an operation is complete. Thus the overall system processing efficiency is improved.
