PURPOSE:To provide a semiconductor device by which a sufficient clamping characteristic can be obtained without using an SBD. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an outputting transistor Q1 whose correcter is connected with an output edge, a first resistor R1 for supplying base currents connected with the base of the outputting transistor Q1, a second resistor R3 connected between the first resistor R1 and the outputting transistor Q1, and clamping transistor Q2 whose base is connected between a second resistor R3 and the first resistor R1, whose correcter is connected between the second resistor R3 and the base of the output transistor Q1, and whose emitter is connected with the output edge. Thus, when the output edge is turned into a prescribed potential, the base currents are supplied to the clamping transistor Q2, and almost of the base currents of the output transistor flow as the correcter currents of the clamping transistor, so that the output transistor Q1 can be prevented from being turned into a deep saturated state. |
