PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer recording medium which is copied by being distinguished clearly from a around color and gives a yellow photo-graphic image by a method wherein an ink layer which gives a photographic image of which reflectance within a specific wavelength range is a specific value or under, is provided. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer recording medium has a yellow ink layer which gives a thermal transfer photographic image of which reflectance within a 520-560nm wavelength range is 80% or under and preferably 60% or under. Since light source light of an ordinary black and white electrophotographic copying machine has only a wavelength of 500nm or over, a yellow photographic image which does not have intensive absorption of 500nm or over does not absorb light within this wavelength area. Therefore, a copy image which can be discriminated from the other portion of copy paper can not be obtained. Since the yellow photographic image to be obtained by using this recording medium is 80% or under in reflectance within a 520-560nm wavelength range and preferably 60% or under, the copy image which can be discriminated from the other portion of the copy paper can be obtained. |
