Self-teaching device - consists of board with coloured counters, with colour of counter corresp. to number
摘要
A self-teaching device for solving problems in arithmetic consists of a rectangular wooden board with a row (3) of square recess formed near each of the shorter edges. Each recess is fitted with a square counter with the counters of each row being of different colours. A row (8) of squares is formed alongside each row of recesses. Each square carries a number which corresponds to the colour of the adjoining counter. A chart (6) carrying a number of arithmetical problems is attached to the board. The user works out the answers and selects a counter corresp. to the answer and inserts this counter in the recess aligned with the position where the problem is written out. A second chart attached to the rear face of the board gives the correct answers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Arithmetic teaching device which can be used for self-teaching.
