PURPOSE: To provide an X-ray intensifying screen having high sharpness, decreased noises and more highly improved sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: This improved X-ray intensifying screen includes a light scatterable and granular material, for example, a phosphor crystal adhered with the affective amt. of barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, calcium sulfate, titanium dioxide or magnesium oxide. The screen forms images having a higher sharpness than the sharpness of the images formed by the screen without having the granular material when the screen is exposed at a high speed together with the X-ray film element for medical treatment coated on one side. |
