The invention concerns a dual-action catch mechanism for a lifting door, which catch mechanism is intended to be arranged between a lifting element and a door leaf moved in the door opening and comprises a pair of catch members acting in each respective direction of movement of the door leaf, which catch members are arranged to be switched into and out of locking engagement with side areas of the door opening upon removal and application, respectively, of a tensile force on the catch mechanism. To ensure that both catches can reliably be released upon application of the lifting force, the invention proposes among other things that the catch mechanism comprises a pair of catch units 10, 50 coupled in series, of which one unit 10 is arranged to switch the associated catch member 12 at a tensile force which is less than that required for switching the catch member 60 of the second catch unit 50. <IMAGE> |
