PURPOSE:To obtain a polyarylene sulfide-based resin slurry composition suitable for coating such as coating material or lining material and molding prepreg, having excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and corrosion resistance and improved adhesiveness and blend compatibility. CONSTITUTION:One or more block copolymers selected from a block copolymer comprising a polyphenylene sulfide part and a polyphenylene sulfide sulfone part, a block copolymer comprising polyphenylene sulfide part, a polyphenylene sulfide ketone part, and a block copolymer comprising a polyphenylene sulfide sulfone part and a polyphenylene sulfide ketone part, and optionally another resin, are dispersed into a dispersion medium (e.g. water, ethanol or propylene glycol). The prepared slurry composition is processed into a coating compound and the slurry composition is impregnated into a fiber base to give molding prepreg. |
