<p>PURPOSE:To industrially and advantageously obtain the subject new compound useful as a synthetic intermediate for medicines, agricultural chemical products, etc., especially prostalgandins by reacting a specific alpha- aminomethylcyclopentenone derivative with an organoaluminum compound. CONSTITUTION:An alpha-aminomethylcyclopentenone derivative expressed by formula I [X is (alpha-OZ,beta-H) or (alpha-H,beta-OZ) (Z is protecting group of hydroxyl group); R<3> and R<4> are 1-10C (substituted) alkyl or phenyl] is made to react with an organoaluminum compound expressed by formula II [R<2> is protected hydroxyl group, 1-15C (substituted) alkyl, 2-15C (substituted) alkenyl, 6-15C (substituted) aryl, etc.; R<5> and R<6> are 1-10C alkyl; Z' is protecting group of hydroxyl group; (k) is 0 or 1] to afford the objective new M-methylenecyclopentanone derivative expressed by formula III [U is (alpha-H,beta-R<1>) or (alpha-R<1>,beta-H) (R<1> is group expressed by formula IV)].</p> |
