发明名称 OPTICAL SIGNAL TRANSMISSION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To output the output waveform whose pulse width distortion is small without being influenced by the decrease of output of an amplifier by comparing amplifier outputs whose phases are opposite to each other, obtained by converting an optical signal to an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 12 sets a reference voltage VR of a reference voltage source 11 as a threshold voltage, and outputs a pulse signal. This pulse signal is amplified by a driving circuit 15, and drives light emission diodes 13, 14 loaded to the respective positive and reverse output sides. Accordingly, phases of optical signals outputted from the diodes 13, 14 are opposite to each other. Optical signals which are made incident through optical fiber cables 3, 4 are converted to electric signals by photodiodes 21, 22 of a light receiving part 2, and amplified by amplifiers 23, 24. A comparator 25 compares two amplifying signals and outputs a square pulse whose waveform is shaped as an output signal VO. In such a way, an output waveform whose pulse width distortion is small can be outputted without being influenced by an output fall of the amplifier in the case a frequency of an input pulse is higher than a cut-off frequency.
