The sanding belt according to the invention is made up of a base (1) of woven material on which abrasive particles (5) of wolfram carbide are glued. Abrasive particles (5) of this material have an advantage which manifests itself with use in connection with the sanding of non-metallic materials, in that less heat is developed due to the better cutting abilities of the particles, and there are fewer vibrations due to the weight of the particles. |
