PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in sensitivity or reproducibility caused by the penetration of a specimen into a furnace wall, by setting the specimen in the bottomed cup inserted into a graphite pipe through the hole provided to the side wall of said graphite pipe. CONSTITUTION:A cup 1 is made of a high m.p. metal and inserted into a furnace 5 comprising a graphite pipe from the hole 6 provided to the upper side surface of said furnace 5 by drilling. A flange 2 is formed to the mouth edge of the cup 1 so as to to fall off said cup 1 into the furnace 5. Through-holes 4 are provided to the side surface of the cup 1 at opposed positions and light is pierced through said through-holes 4 when the cup 1 is inserted into and set in the furnace 5. The two opposed through-holes 4 must be provided on a straight line in the light passing direction in the furnace 5, that is, in the pipe axial direction of the furnace 5. Because an errected part 3 is provided directly above one of the holes 4, it functions as an aim for accurately setting the direction of the holes 4 when the cup 1 is inserted into the furnace 5. |
