TREATING DEVICE FOR ORGANIC WASTE WATER

PURPOSE:To dispense with one unit of circulating pump and to reduce running costs to about 1/2 to 1/3 by press-feeding a part or the whole of the circulating water of an ultrafilter membrane device into an expansion type fluidization chamber from its bottom by the circulating pump on the ultrafilter membrane device side. CONSTITUTION:Granular carriers 6 are swollen by the upward current generated by the circulating pump 13 used as a driving source in the expansion type fluidization chamber 5. The overflow water from the expansion type fluidization chamber 5 flows into an air lift type fluidization chamber 8. Microorganismic carriers are charged to this air lift type fluidization chamber 8 as well and the carriers 9 are circulated in the fluidization chamber 8 by the air lift effect generated by a blower 10. The supernatant of the air lift type fluidization chamber 8 is subjected to the sepn. and recovery of the carriers and extraneous materials by a microscreen 11, and is admitted into a fluidization-treated water tank 12 and the bio-treated water is supplied to a ultrafilter membrane module 14 by the circulation pump 13 where the water is separated to permeated water and thickened water. Further, the thickened water is regulated in the return rate by an expansion type fluidization chamber return valve 22 and a fluidization-treated water tank return valve 23 and is thereby circulated.
