Low cost connection between individual hollow components (1, 2) of the puppet is achieved by inserting one component (2) with an undercut section (7) into the opening (8) in the adjacent component (1) such that the undercut section (7) engages behind the edge of the opening (8). Both components (1, 2) are pliable at the insertion stage. Components (1, 2) are mfd. in PVC and after the joining process the PCV is crosslinked by irradiation to produce a rigid material which prevents component sepn. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process produces a puppet in rigid plastic and allows inexpensive joints to be made which cannot be sepd. |
