PRODUCTION OF POLYTEREPHTHALIC ACID DIHYDRAZIDE FIBER AND FILM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject high-performance fiber and film of high practicality at a low cost by dissolving polyterephthalic acid dihydrazide in a solution of ammonium hydroxide, and then processing the resultant solution in an acidic coagulation bath. CONSTITUTION:(B) Polyterephthalic acid dihydrazide having preferably 0.5-8 dl/g intrinsic viscosity in an amount of 5-40wt.% is dissolved in (A) a solution of a quaternary ammonium hydroxide expressed by the formula (R is alkyl, etc.) at 5-40wt.% concentration, and the resultant solution is treated in an acidic coagulation bath, e.g. 0.5-1.0N aqueous solution of phosphoric acid to afford the objective fiber and film.
