PURPOSE:To print original image in a desired position on a printed matter when the original image is to be printed with variable times by moving the image with image moving means such that a picture element at a first objective point on a manuscript designated by objective point designation means coincides with a picture element at a second objective point on the printed matter. CONSTITUTION:A manuscript 21 is inserted into a scanner 22 so as to be scanned and image is read. The manuscript is lighted by a light source 27 when it passes on a manuscript read line on a manuscript stand 26. A reflected light image is formed on an image sensor 30 consisting of a charge coupled device through a mirror 28 and a lens 29 and converted into an image signal. A process section is constituted of a plotter 32 including a thermal head 31 and the scanner 22. In the plotter 32, an original plate feed motor 33 consisting of a pulse motor is turned on so as to rotate a platen roller 34 which conveys a roller-like original plate 35. At the same time, the thermal head 31 writes the image on the original plate 35 in accordance with an image signal to be inputted from the image sensor 30 through an analog/digital converter and an image signal processor so as to form a plate. |
