PURPOSE:To obtain a fluoroplastic composite sheet easily colored and having antistatic effect by forming a fluoroplastic layer to at least the single surface of a membrane composed of metal, an alloy or ceramics having glass fiber cloth formed to the single surface or both surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:A fluoroplastic composite sheet capable of being easily colored and excellent in antistatic properties and heat insulating properties can be obtained by forming a membrane composed of metal, an alloy or ceramics to the single surface or both surfaces of a base material based on glass fiber cloth. The membrane is formed from various metals such as Ti, Al or the like, an alloy thereof or various ceramics such as TiN, Al2O3 or the like and the thickness thereof is usually 5-3000Angstrom . As fluoroplastic, polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) or a tetrafluorethylene/ perfluoroalkylvinyl ether copolymer is designated. For example, fluoroplastic can be applied by immersing glass fiber cloth in a dispersion adjusted to 40-60wt.% in the content of PTFE and drawing up the same to remove the excessive dispersion and further heating the impregnated cloth to 100-400 deg.C to dry and sinter the same. |
