In a device for shutting off and aerating a pipe, a flow opening (54) is shut off by the movement of a pipe piece (5) drivable by a drive unit (3), and the aerating opening (24) is then freed, and during the return movement first the aerating opening (24) is closed and then the flow opening (54) is freed. The pipe piece (5) carries a single closure member (11) which is held by a spring (17) or the like in contact with a first sealing seat (52) provided on the pipe piece (5). The flow opening (54) is thereby shut off. The closure member (11) is carried along by the movement of the pipe piece (5) until the closure member (11) runs up against a second sealing seat (22) assigned to the aerating opening (24), whereupon the closure member (11) is lifted off from the first sealing seat (13) by the further movement of the pipe piece (5). <IMAGE> |
