PURPOSE:To protect an analyzer and improve accuracy of analysis by opening the outer end of a sampling passage communicated with an exhaust passage on the outside face of an engine holder, and freely opening or closing the opening part with a plug. CONSTITUTION:A boss 19 extending over the wall 13 of an exhaust gas passage 14 and the outer circumferential wall 12 is integrally provided, a sampling passage 20 is penetratingly formed in the boss 19, the outer end of the sampling passage 20 is opened on the side face of an engine holder 10, and a plug 21 is fitted to this opening part to sealingly close. Consequently, for picking up sampling gas, the plug 21 is removed, and a sampling apparatus is connected to the opening part of the sampling passage 20 to pick up the exhaust gas. By this method, exhaust gas before flowing in an exhaust tube 6 can be picked up from the exhaust gas passage 14, and the sample gas containing no water can be obtained. Hereby, an analyzer can be protected and accuracy of analysis can be improved. |
