<p>PURPOSE:To enable an electric water heater to operate without inefficiency in heating or without the possibility of exhaustion of hot water by a method wherein, at the point of transition from the daytime zone to the midnight zone, if the heating is working, the heating is continued and, if the heating is not working, a peak shift is started at the transition point. CONSTITUTION:In the control to heat water by heating over the daytime zone of power supply (D) plus the midnight zone of power supply (N), if the heating is operating at the point of transition from (D) to (N), the heating is continued into the midnight zone (N); after completion of the heating, a peak shift is calculated and the calculation is followed by heating adjusted to the result of the calculation. If the heating is not working at the point of transition to the midnight zone (N), calculation of a peak shift is started at this transition point and the calculation is followed by heating adjusted to the result of the calculation.</p> |
