PURPOSE:To evaluate the heat resistance and the clack resistance on the material base, by fixing a test piece which is obtained by modeling a brake disc rotor or the like, to a jig, and by rotating the sample at a predetermined rotational speed while the test pieces is repeatedly and rapidly heated and cooled. CONSTITUTION:A jig 1 to which a test piece 3 is rotated at a predetermined rotational speed. The test piece 3 is abruptly heated by a heating device 4, and is fed with air or water jetted from cooling nozzles 5 through 7 so that the test piece 3 is rapidly and repeatedly heated and cooled, and accordingly, generation of a thermal strain and cracks is detected. Thus, it is possible to readily evaluate the heat resistance and crack resistance on the material base. |
