The invention relates to a container which is made from foldable material and is provided on a diagonal with a scattering nozzle which is formed by: a first cut line which extends in a first plane adjoining the diagonal, from a first point on the diagonal; a second cut line which extends in a second plane adjoining the diagonal, from the first point on the diagonal; a first weakened line which extends in the first plane adjoining the diagonal, from a second point on the diagonal and which intersects the first cut line; and a second weakened line which extends in the second plane adjoining the diagonal, from the second point on the diagonal, and which intersects the second cut line. To close a scattering nozzle of this nature, the container is provided with spreader means for temporarily increasing the distance between the end point of the first cut line and the second cut line. Preferably, the spreader means are formed by a third weakened line which connects a third point on the diagonal to the end point of the first cut line, and a fourth weakened line which connects the third point on the diagonal to the end point of the second cut line.
