发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF ELECTROLYTE MATRIX FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a matrix layer having sufficient mechanical strength and good wetting property by crushing and mixing in advance, with a crusher, binder and particles having resistance against electrolyte, dispersing it in aqueous solvent and adjusting matrix ink. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell is constituted by laminating a plural number of single cells, with a separator 4 interposed in between, each consisting of a pair of porous electrodes 3 with their opposing surfaces formed with a catalyst layer 2 with an electrolyte-impregnated matrix layer 1 sandwiched in between. The component materials, electrolyte resistant particles and binder, are crushed and mixed in advance with a crusher and dispersed in an aqueous solvent to adjust matrix ink. Because of the very fine size of the PPS resin particles as binder, the particles do not clog the pores made by silica as particles having resistance against electrolyte, the pore ratio is prevented from lowering.
