The present invention relates to a dynamic protective barrier. The protective barrier, constituted by a mesh network (1) suspended from an upper edge cable (7) and held to a lower edge cable (8), which are respectively connected to head (3) and foot (2) stays separated by spacers, is characterised in that the mesh network (1) consists of a cable arranged in a zigzag between the lower (8) and upper (7) edge cables, the cable being arranged between the two edges so as to form lacings directed perpendicularly to the zigzag, the lacings of a cable portion (14) arriving on an edge cable (7) being formed in opposition with respect to the lacings of the cable portion (13) going away from the edge cable (7), so as to form a succession of antinodes and nodes. <IMAGE>
