PURPOSE:To improve detecting sensitivity by containing antigen polypeptide or amino acid sequence of said polypeptide. CONSTITUTION:Human blood plasma, etc., having negative property to HBs antigen, negative property to HBV-DNA and high ALT-activating value is extracted and double-chained cDNA is synthesized using resultant RNA as a mold to obtain a cDNA library (A). Next, a plaque of the component A is reacted with a primary antibody (a solution containing diluted pooled serum, etc., of a patient having non-A and non-B type hepatitis) and a secondary antibody (a diluted solution, etc., of human IgG labeled of peroxidase) to obtain clone NS43 (B). Then, the component B is reacted with blood serum, etc., of a patient having non-A and non-B type chronic hepatitis and subjected to immunoplaqueassay to obtain an amino acid sequence coding non-A and non-B type hepatitis virus antigen polypeptide expressed by formula I specifically reacting with said blood serum and a base sequence coding said antigen. |
