PURPOSE:To simply and easily prepare an IC photo-card within a short time even in small quantities by forming a surface sheet from thermal sublimation transfer print image receiving paper cut into a card size and using a hot melt adhesive not diffusing a thermally sublimable transfer dye bonding the surface sheet and the transparent film for the surface cover. CONSTITUTION:A card is constituted of a rear transparent plastic sheet 1, an adhesive layer 12, a plastic pasteboard 13, a hot melt adhesive layer 14, a thermal sublimation transfer print sheet 15 a dye non-diffusible hot melt adhesive layer 16 and a surface transparent plastic sheet 17. The rear of the thermal sublimation transfer print sheet 15 and the plastic pasteboard 13 can be bonded by a hot melt adhesive using a laminator heated to 120-160 deg.C so as to obtain necessary bonding strength. The hot melt adhesive 16 imparts necessary bonding strength and is transparent and develops adhesiveness by the laminator heated to 120-160 deg.C and prevents the diffusion of a thermally sublimable transfer dye at room temp. Therefore, printing can be simply carried out by a general-purpose thermal sublimation transfer printer. |
