PURPOSE:To form the subject food while preventing choking with an ingredient due to gravity by extruding a coating material from an annular groove metallic fixture with a screw conveyor, forming the material into a cylindrical coating and coating the ingredient extruded through the central shaft hole of the screw conveyor therewith. CONSTITUTION:An ingredient (A) is fed from an ingredient feed hopper 3 to the central shaft hole 5 of a screw conveyor 7 at a constant rate and a coating material (B) is fed from a coating material hopper 2 into a transversely long cylindrical body 6, turned over between blades of the screw conveyor and aged while being kneaded and then formed into a coating (C) between the tip member (7a) and an annular groove metallic fixture 17. Thereby, the ingredient (A) in a shape thereof as the center wrapped with the coating (C) is then delivered from a guide roller 19 and subsequently formed into a food between split molds (21a) and (21b) of rotating drums (20a) and (20b). |
