Formulation for treatment of synovial inflammation comprising an active ingredient suspended in a carrier is characterised in that the active ingredient is dysprosium-165 hydroxide macroaggregate (DHM) or yttrium-90 hydroxide macroaggregates (YHM) as the only ingredient. Pref. the compsn. is free of other co-pptg. agents, partic. free of Fe(OH)3 and free of ionic iron. Pref. the compsn. is in the form of an isotonic apyrogenic injectable soln.
