PURPOSE:To prevent an unnatural sound from being generated by setting a specific position on an envelope waveform and attenuating the envelope waveform according to the position of the envelope waveform at key-off timing. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a central processing unit(CPU) 10, a key detecting circuit 13, an EC setting switch 14, a sound source circuit 16, a keyboard 18, etc. The specific position DP determined by the elapsed time from key-on time, level, etc., is set on the envelope waveform and whether or not the position on the envelope waveform at the key-on time is before the specific position DP in terms of time and high in level is detected. Further, the envelope waveform is attenuated more abruptly where the key-off position is high in sound level. Consequently, the high-level envelope waveform connects irrelevantly to whether sustaining is present or not, whether release is long or short, key-off timing, etc., to prevent an unnatural sound from being generated. |
