PURPOSE:To obtain the subject film having improved surface and adhesiveness and useful for composite materials utilizing good mechanical properties and heat resistance thereof by bringing a specific film into contact with an epoxy compound and subsequently subjecting the film to a corona discharge treatment. CONSTITUTION:The objective film is produced by the following steps: casting a dope containing a para-oriented aromatic polyamide and a solvent on a plane surface supporter, coagulating the cast dope, bringing the thus practically solvent-removed film containing >=50 wt.% of water and/or the organic solvent into contact with a solution containing an epoxy compound, drying the film at a temperature above 50 deg.C while restricting the shrinkage of the film and subsequently subjecting the film to a corona discharge treatment. |
