The concrete etc building walls are erected with the aid of a climbing frame and the wall shuttering. First, a series of shuttering panels are assembled together, extending in the vertical direction and also horizontally if desired, and are temporarily held in a fixed position. To extend the wall upwards, the lowermost panel (5) are then transferred to the top. Pref. the shuttering panels are held in their temporary positions by suitable anchors.
