<p>The present invention provides a power supply circuit for electronic equipment comprising power generating means (1), a secondary power source (3) for storing an output from the power generating means for supplying a primary voltage (V SC), and a boosting circuit (5) for stepping the primary voltage up to a secondary voltage (Vss1) for supply to the electronic equipment. The boosting circuit comprises a storage capacitor (15), and switching transistors (16 to 19) operable in response to control signals for cyclically switching the primary voltage for charging the storage capacitor.
