PURPOSE:To make effective utilization of three primary colors by displosing respective condenser lens having the radius of curvature the lenses based on the respective main wavelength of red, blue and green and antireflection films just before a transmission type panel. CONSTITUTION:The luminous flux of light source 1 separated the three primary colors; red, green and blue by the blue reflecting dichroic mirror 3 and the green reflecting dichroic mirror 4. These luminous fluxes are condensed by the respective condenser lens 6, 7, 8 and are synthesized by a prism 12 through transmission type panels 9, 10, 11 of the respective colors. The synthesized luminous flux is projected visible images by a lens 13. The reflection and absorp tion of the light by the condenser lens are suppressed according to this constitu tion and the three primary colors are effectively utilized. |
