PURPOSE:To prevent a housing case from impeding the movement of a mounting head in the directions of X and Y by a method wherein the mounting head is made to directly take out an electronic component by the use of the housing case in which the electronic component is housed, and a takeout opening through which the electronic component is delivered from the housing path of the housing case is opened upward at a position corresponding to the lower dead point of a nozzle tip attendant on the down movement of the mounting head. CONSTITUTION:When an actuating signal is transmitted to actuate a pressure air feeding mechanism 3, forward + air energized in a direction in which an electronic component is transferred is fed to spiral stripes 13a-13n, an electronic component is moved to a straight line path 130 from the outermost circumference 13n even toward the upper part of the housing case 1 and quickly delivered from the straight line path 13 until it bears against the side wall 14b of a delivery opening 14. A mounting head H moves downward accompanying the movement of the electronic component to the takeout opening 14, the nozzle tip of the mounting head H is made to bear against the electronic component located at the top of the takeout opening 14 at a lower dead point thus sucking the electronic component. Thereafter, the mounting head H moves up instantaneously and transfers the electronic component to a mounting position on a printed board. |
