PURPOSE:To prevent a recording medium from being jammed and obliquely advancing and an image from being missed by providing a means for counting the number of originals and a means for storing the number of originals and stopping the feeding of the 2nd recording medium when the number of fed originals attains a total number. CONSTITUTION:When a means for detecting a final original 20 detects that the 2nd original M is the final original M, the means 20 outputs a signal so as to control the feeding of the 2nd recording medium P3. In such a case, the fed originals M are counted by the means for counting the number of originals 20 and the total number of the originals M is stored in a memory means 21. When the 2nd original M attains the total number, the feeding of the 2nd recording medium P3 is stopped by a control means 19. Thus, the recording medium is prevented from being jammed and obliquely advancing and the omission of transfer is prevented from occurring, thereby obtaining an excellent image. |
