PURPOSE:To obtain a cover film excellent in antistaining properties, discoloration resistance and fading resistance used at the time of the arrangement and keeping of hard copy by providing a layer or transparent support composed of a non-dyeing material on the side coming into contact with the image receiving surface of the hard copy and a layer or transparent support composed of a gas impermeable material on the side opposite to the image receiving surface. CONSTITUTION:In a cover film 1, a layer composed of a gas impermeable material having ultraviolet absorbability is provided to the surface on the side coming into contact with the image receiving layer of hard copy 2 of a transparent support 11a and a layer composed of a non-dyeing material is laminated to the layer composed of the aforementioned gas impermeable material. The layer composed of the gas impermeable material having ultraviolet absorbability or a layer composed of a gas impermeable material having ultraviolet absorbability being an org. polymer material whose oxygen and steam permeabilities are respectively 150 cc/m<2>-24hr-atm/25mum or less and 100g/m<2>-24hr/25mum is provided to the surface on the side opposite to the surface coming into contact with the image receiving surface 21 of the hard copy 2 of the transparent support 11a of a non-dyeing material composed of an org. polymer having a glass transition point of 80 deg.C or higher. A membrane of an inorg. material, a metal membrane of a layer of a non-dyeing material composed of an org. polymer having a glass transition point of 80 deg.C or higher is provided to the surface on the side coming into contact with the image receiving surface 21 of the hard copy 2 of the transparent support 11a. |
