PURPOSE:To make it possible to display the contrast and the waviness of a coated surface in numerical values and to facilitate judgment by receiving the image of the coated surface illuminated with fluorescence light with a TV camera, and processing the image. CONSTITUTION:A casing 11 is mounted on the surface of an object under inspection 3. When a fluorescence light 12 is lit, the light of the fluorescence light 12 reaches a surface under inspection 3a of the object 3. The reflected light is picked up with a camera. The image of the surface is received with an image processing device 15 as the image 16. Since there is waviness on the coated surface, the image 16 becomes the image wherein a boundary line between a bright part 16a and a dark part 16b is waved. Then, the cross section of a bright point in the direction Y at an arbitrary point on the X axis of the image 16 is extracted. Thereafter, the operation of (Y2-Y1)/(Y2+Y1) is performed, and the contrast of the image 16 is extracted. By this operation, the contrast of the surface under inspection 3a can be made to be the numerical value. Then, the cross section of the luminance at the boundary part between the bright part 16a and the dark part 16b in the direction X of the image 16 is extracted, and the curve of the cross section of the luminance is obtained. |
