<p>PURPOSE:To equalize the loads of plural call processors by routing an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) cell based on information provided on a switch state control means by the call processor for which a call processing is allocated. CONSTITUTION:A main processor 3 totally controls the allocation of the call processing to plural call processors 2a, 2b... to control a switching network 1 of an ATM exchange. Namely, the main processor 3 successively allocates the originated call to the plural call processors 2a, 2b... in the order of origination of the call. The call processor, for which the call processing is allocated, executes the routing of the ATM cell based on the information provided on a switching state control means 4. Thus, the loads of the call processors 2a-2n can be efficiently distributed with the simple method in the manner of a software and a hardware and the exchanging efficiency of the ATM exchange can be improved.</p> |
